FEEDING
Feeding for Cows & Goats
ATL electric feeders are simple to operate, easy to install, easy to maintain, strong, reliable and above all accurate. ATL feeders use a timed motor to dispense a given quantity of feed.
ATL has developed a range of electronic controls to suit different sizes and types of milking parlours. They are simple and easy to use, can run the majority of feeders available and above all are durable and reliable. The large, bright display LEDs are clear and easy to read under most artificial lighting conditions. The casings are IP65 rated and the controls are designed to withstand the harsh parlour environment.
The Digital Feeder Control can run two feeders, left and right, on herringbone and abreast parlours, or the rotary feeder on a rotary platform.
The Auto Control is the new and improved version of the Auto XL. It is a simple and easy to use feeder control for use on herringbone parlours.
ATL electric feeders are simple to operate, easy to install, easy to maintain, strong, reliable and above all accurate. ATL feeders use a timed motor to dispense a given quantity of feed. The amount delivered by an ATL feeder can be easily adjusted by altering either the running time or delivery rate.
The ATL herringbone feeding system has been designed to suit any parlour simply by choosing the appropriate hopper from the extensive range and fitting the standard feeder unit.
With its unique modular design, the ATL abreast feeder will fit just about any parlour, even old ‘shovel’ based layouts – with the minimum of fuss and upheaval.
The ATL rotary parlour feeder has been designed to deliver rations at high speed into the centre of mangers on rotary milking platforms.
Out of parlour feeding systems offer a flexible method of feeding dairy cows with concentrates and supplements. With the 'little and often' feed principle, the system should increase the cow's milk production and condition. Individual rations allow easy targeting of high yielders.
The system is available with either one or two feeders per stall and each stall is fitted with automatic identification technology. Cows are identified from their Allflex HDX ear tag and rations are dispensed as small, uniform portions to minimise unwanted feed and ‘leftovers’. Many of the features are farm set, keeping you firmly in control.
